Who We Are:

Peerick wines represent a fusion of ancient cultures & spiritual connections, matched with a commitment to sustainability, biodiversity and the maintenance of a healthy ecosystem.

What We Do:

At Peerick, what makes them unique is their deep connection and respect for the ancient and fragile country from which their wines are derived. It permeates everything they do from their viticultural practices to wine making. They are totally committed to maintaining a rich, healthy, sustainable and bio-diverse eco-system for their vines to thrive in. They hand pick and hand prune all their vines. Peerick minimises their use of synthetic chemicals and fertilisers and while not certified organic, abide by organic principals. Their wines are vegan friendly and are wild yeast fermented and only vegan friendly fining agents, if required, are used in their production.
Their name, derived from the Aboriginal word ‘beeric’, a ‘wild cat’, was bestowed on their region by its traditional custodians, the Dja Dja Wurrung. Their beliefs and dream time stories, together with the triskele from our Celtic culture, are proudly depicted on the Peerick wine label. This encompasses the deep spiritual connection to the earth, water, sky and its creatures – in essence their terroir. All working in harmony to produce Peerick’s distinctive range of award-winning wines.

Visitors of Peerick Winery may enjoy the cellar door or participate in grape picking, nature walks and camping with BBQ facilities at the property.
